The Memorize-It startup screen displays a main menu of File, Edit, Quiz, Deck, Card, Style, Font, Windows and Help, and an empty “Untitled Deck 1” window (subsequently referred to as “Deck List Window”).  The top area of the window displays the card button commands of New, Edit, Delete and Quiz.  The only active startup card button command is New.  The Quiz card command becomes active when more than one card is displayed and the other commands become active when a card title is selected.

 Memorize-It is now ready to open an existing deck from the File/Open menu or add new cards to the empty deck via the Card/New card command.
