Side-Eight Software will never sell or give our customer or client information to third parties. Never! We don't like it when people do that to us, we will not do that to you.

What information do we collect? How do we use it?

When ordering our software from our site or partner sites, we collect the purchaser's name, email address, mailing address, and phone number. We do not directly store or see any credit card information. This information allows us to process and fulfill orders and provide notification of the order status.   The credit card number and expiration date is only collected by our third party partners who do the order processing.

We may periodically (once a year) send an e-mail when we have major upgrades. You will be notified how to remove yourself from the list. If you would like to be removed before then, contact us.

How do 3rd party credit card processors protect customer information?

Customers who buy from Side-Eight are shopping on a secure server hosted by RegNow and other 3rd party credit card processors that encrypts all of the customer's personal information including name, address and credit card number. Encryption ensures that no one can access or use personal information in an unauthorized manner.

Website Tracking

We use cookies on our websites to track traversal patterns and to collect hit counts. We do this to see if our website is working for our users and to find ways to make it easier to use. We also learn how our traffic patterns change over time and relate to server performance and sales. We collect no specific information on individual users besides the site origination and how they arrived at our site so we can find better ways to bring our software to those that are searching for it in the future..

Our stance on adware and spyware?

It's a sad world where we even have to comment on this. We think spyware is evil. Our software does not collect any information and does not phone home in any way.
